The S.W.A.G. Team x Harlem Lacrosse Philadelphia
wLL watch party
the s.w.a.g. team hosted its first event On may 16, 2026: a Watch Party of the professional Women's Lacrosse League (WLL) 2026 season opening weekend game featuring the Boston Guard versus New York Charging. There was DELICIOUS food, drinks, awesome raffle prizes, and lots of fun while raising funds to support Harlem Lacrosse Philadelphia, a nonprofit that provides education, enrichment, and lacrosse programming to at-risk youth in North Philly. Our goal was to raise $8,000 so that every girl in the harlem lacrosse philadelphia program can have a pair of cleats.
s.w.a.g. success!
Together, We celebrated women and girls in sports, highlighted the inspiring work being done by Harlem Lacrosse Philadelphia, grew awareness about professional women’s lacrosse, AND raised $5,565(!!!) and counting – that’s 70 pairs of cleats for girls in the program! over 110 people participated in making the event successful by attending in person, volunteering their time, purchasing raffle tickets, making a donation towards cleats, and donating food, space, and raffle prizes. You can still donate here. A special thanks to:
Anita Roberson, Executive Director of Harlem Lacrosse Philadelphia, for your trust and partnership, and for donating the hottest raffle prize;
Taco Heart for donating delicious food for the event (go support them in South Philly!);
Brandywine Realty Trust for donating use of their amazing space for the event;
WLL and PLL Assists for their support and raffle prize donations;
ECD Lacrosse, for donating a Halo lacrosse head;
Early S.W.A.G. donors who provided funding that allowed us to organize and host this event within five months launching our nonprofit.
